What is Power Pause?

Power Pause combines strength, cardio, mobility and balance training with open, honest conversations about the realities of menopause.

It’s a space where laughter, shared experiences and support sit alongside movement — helping you feel less alone in what can often feel like an overwhelming transition.

Having navigated my own perimenopause journey, including injury, inflammation and the emotional rollercoaster that comes with it, I understand how different your body can feel during this time.

This course is about learning how to work with your body again — so you can feel stronger, more balanced and more like yourself.

What to expect?

Over the 6 weeks, you’ll receive a blend of practical support, movement and community:

  • A 20-minute 1:1 video consultation before the course begins

  • A welcome group call to connect and ease you in

  • Weekly in-person sessions (approx. 60 minutes)

  • Ongoing support throughout the course

  • Optional WhatsApp group for connection and accountability

  • A group hike and picnic to finish

Each session is designed to support your body through this stage of life — while keeping things varied, engaging and enjoyable.

This course is for you if:

  • You’re in perimenopause or menopause

  • Your body feels different and you’re not sure how to train anymore

  • You’re feeling low on energy, confidence or motivation

  • You want support that feels realistic and understanding

  • You’re craving connection with like-minded women

You don’t need to be fit. You don’t need to have done anything like this before. You just need to be open to starting.

It’s completely normal to feel unsure before joining something like this — especially if your body doesn’t feel like it used to.

  • “Will I be able to keep up?”

  • “What if I feel out of place?”

  • “What if my fitness isn’t good enough?”

Power Pause is designed to meet you where you are.

Everything is adaptable, supportive and pressure-free. This isn’t about pushing you to your limits — it’s about helping you rebuild trust, confidence and strength in your body, at your own pace.

The Sessions

Sessions are tailored to support the key areas affected during menopause, including:

  • Strength training (supporting bone health and muscle mass)

  • Gentle cardio (supporting heart health and energy levels)

  • Balance and coordination

  • Mobility, stretching and recovery

  • Emotional release through movement

Workouts vary week to week and may include circuits, boxing, functional movement, games and restorative elements — all designed to help you feel capable, energised and supported.

What does it cost?

The 6-week course is £149 per person and includes:

  • Initial 1:1 consultation

  • 6 x group training sessions

  • Ongoing support

  • Community connection

  • End-of-course hike and picnic

A £75 deposit secures your place, with the remaining balance due before the course begins.
